Surprise Disneyland Proposal!
For as long as I can remember I have wanted to photograph a surprise proposal. Never in my wildest dreams did I image that the first one I would ever photograph would be for my brother. My brother was never someone I pictured getting married one day or any of that, but I truly believe now that the only reason I thought that was because he wasn't finding the right girl for him.
You see ever since my brother met Sarah he has had this big goofy smile that hasn't left his face. I know I'm not the only one who has noticed it either. The way he looks at her and smiles around her is like nothing I have ever seen come from my brother. He is a better man because of her and I could not be happier for not only him but her too. Sarah is sweet, smart, kind, funny, the list goes on and on. She fits into our family like she was born to be apart of it. Sarah has been like a sister to me since the day she moved in and now I officially get the call her my sister-in-law. (once they are married of course) My brother is so lucky to have found her and she is so lucky to have found him.
When my brother first started talking about proposing to Sarah I was thrilled and couldn't wait to help him plan this surprise proposal. When he bought the ring thats when we really kicked things into gear. We got the Disneyland tickets, and every chance we got while Sarah was away at work we sat down and tossed ideas around. We probably had a solid month of just bouncing ideas back and fourth. I even booked a client for a Disney session that morning so I had an excuse to be there as a 3rd wheel on their date day. Sadly said client couldn't make it since one of her littles woke up sick. (if you are reading this I really hope your little one is feeling better!)
We picked the location of Cars Land near the red rocks because one of their favorite things to do is go camping in the desert. It was the perfect fit for them.
The morning of our Disneyland trip I could tell my brother was nervous, he had sweaty palms, and his heart was pounding off and on all day. I packed up the ring in my purse, grabbed my camera and we were out the door and the rest is history. Just see the photos for yourself.
Bryan and Sarah I am so incredibly happy for both of you. You both deserve this more than you will ever know. Thank you for allowing me to be there and watch this next chapter in your lives unfold and for letting me capture it on camera. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for both of you and I can't wait to watch you grow as a couple.
Oh and Happy Birthday Sarah!!!!!
